It is truly a privilege to be part of the Forsyth Humane Society's UNchain Winston.
I love Winston-Salem and think it's really important to give back to the community. One of the things I love to do most is photograph fences going up and dogs being freed from their life at the end of a chain. These photos help spread awareness about available resources and alternatives to tethering. They have been featured in magazines and fundraising ads and to publicize anti-tethering ordinances and legislation efforts.

UNchain Winston's volunteers construct safe and secure fencing, build and distribute dog-houses, repair existing fences, offer free or low-cost spay/neuter and vaccinations, and veterinary care. We also educate pet owners and the public about proper pet care, and provide other resources including, pet food, leashes, collars, pet carriers, and bowls.
